End of Season Information for Coaches and Managers

Thank you, coaches and managers, for everything you have done this season. After an incredibly challenging start, it has been fantastic to see our players back on the field week after week, supported by your commitment, patience and leadership.

As we approach the end of the season, here is everything you need to know:
Trophy Day & End of Season Celebrations
We encourage all teams to celebrate together at the club’s Trophy Day rather than holding separate presentation events. We also encourage teams to schedule any end of season gatherings on the same day so our entire Southside Eagles community can come together and enjoy the occasion.
Trophy Day is an important opportunity to recognise and thank the many people who make our club possible — including players, coaches, managers, volunteers, families, sponsors and community partners.

Community Recognition
The day also brings together our local elected representatives, who have supported the club through sponsorship, advocacy and assistance in securing grants that help fund facility improvements and future development projects. Our major sponsors will be attending as well, giving them the chance to share in the success of the season and see firsthand the impact of their support. The day is about celebrating Southside Eagles as one club and recognising everyone who contributes to our continued growth and success.

End of Season Events: Trophy Day Saturday 12th September 2026 from 9am – 4pm

After your final game
Please make sure players bring their Southside Eagles training shirt with them.
After their final game:
• Players should change out of their playing jersey and into their training shirt.
• No club playing jersey should leave the grounds.
• Coaches and/or Managers will collect the team playing kits and return them to the main clubhouse before their presentation.
• If your team has already finished its season, please make sure any outstanding home and away kits are returned washed and ready for collection.
• If you’ve just played your final game on Trophy Day, don’t worry — we’ll take care of the laundry!

Trophies, photos and a team moment
Player trophies and team photos will be handed out together during your team’s presentation.
We’ll have a tent where teams can gather, collect their photos, celebrate the season together and, if you’d like to keep the group together next year, potentially nominate your team for next season. 🙂

Free inflatables for Southside Eagles players
We’ll have three inflatables running from 9:00am–4:00pm:
🎈 Jumping Castle
🏃 15m Inflatable Obstacle Course
🔥 27m Firestorm Inflatable Obstacle Course

When signing in for the inflatables:
Wear your Southside Eagles game-day shirt or training shirt and your all-day wristband is FREE.
Siblings and other guests (non-member) — can purchase an all-day wristband for $5.
Once you have your wristband, you can use the inflatables throughout the day.

There’ll also be plenty happening throughout Trophy Day, including:

🍨 Gelatissimo Ice Cream
🍔 Club canteen open all day
🍻 Clubhouse bar open during the afternoon

Bring the family, stay around after your game if you can, support the other teams and help us give the kids a great finish to their Southside Eagles season.
