Managers Are an Important Part of the Team

Team Managers play a vital role in keeping the team organised and supporting the Coach by ensuring parents and players are well informed throughout the season. Managers act as the central point of contact and help information flow smoothly between parents, players, coaches and the club administrator.

Core Responsibilities (All Teams)
• Communicate training day, time and venue.
• Communicate game day details including time, venue and expected arrival time (as advised by the coach).
• Coordinate player numbers for each game.
• Arrange rosters for:
Washing the club playing strip
Fruit (optional, depending on the team)
• Communicate field status/closures and any cancelled or rescheduled games in a timely manner.
• Coordinate club photo day and payment.
• Collect and return all club equipment and team strips at the beginning and end of the season.

Managers of U13–U18 teams also complete the following tasks:
• Update team lists on game day using the Squadi Teamsheet system.
• Ensure the score is updated and accurate.

Registration Requirements

Managers must be willing to register as a Team Manager once registrations open in 2023 and must hold a Working With Children (WWC) Blue Card or be willing to apply for one.
