Preparing for trials:
Ensure you have submitted an expression of interest to trial:
- Wear your Southside Eagles training kits if you have one, or other suitable training kit
- All players must wear shin pads and football boots
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time
- Please bring a water bottle with your name clearly visible
- Parents and guardians must sit in the designated area – at no time can a parent or guardian stand on the field or sideline, nor coach a player from the sidelines and you may be asked to leave the grounds if you do not respect this rule
What happens after trials?
- Trial leads and coaches work with the Club’s Technical Director to decide the make-up of each team
- Successful players will receive a Letter of Offer from the club stating the outcome of the trial
- Parents/guardians must accept the offer and pay a deposit by the due date – if the offer is not accepted and deposit not paid by the due date, the position may be released to another player
- Unsuccessful players will be invited to submit an EOI to play in a Quokka, Wallaby or divisional team
