Becoming a Manager

The position of the manager is equally important to that of the coach. The manager's role is to act as a link between the team and the club. As with the coach, it is for the families of each team to agree who will be the team manger. It is a great way to meet other people. Managers attend occassional club meetings on a Wednesday night to receive information on happenings within the club.

Role of the Manager

  • responsible for communicating information between the club and the team
  • sets up team email group for regular communication
  • responsible for arranging team strips, signing of game card
  • responsible for collection and payment of officials
  • responsible for updating Football Brisbane website on game results (does not apply to SSF)
  • responsible for arranging ground official at home games
